Turn of the Century Cocktail Parties
At Bird of Paradise, we take great joy in collecting the freshest
of local products and presenting them in an artful way. One of the options we offer is a
selection we call "the Bounty of The Central Coast". Imagine a large round
table, draped and overflowing with a fragrant and flavorful display including:
 | Artichokes from Castroville, poached and marinated, cascading from a wooden crate
and served with miso dip |
 | Melons, berries, grapes, and other fruits beautifully laid out on platters |
 | A medley of colorful vegetables from the Salinas Valley presented in a basket
with fresh herb dip, garnished with organic "specials" from Jon's garden |
 | Roasted garlic from Gilroy, served with sliced baguettes and olive oil |
 | Our homemade "Caponata", A traditional Italian relish of eggplant
redolent with wine, olives & garlic, served with crostini |

Bird of Paradise also offers a large selection of hors d' oeuvres,
hot or cold. These may be presented on a buffet table or "Butler Passed" by
servers with trays. A small sample of our selection follows:

These are especially helpful when you have a large party, as they improve service and

Dinners". This menu includes 6 courses, all "Butler Passed" and designed to
be "Fork Friendly"!
